  • One in every six men will get prostate cancer.
  • 35% will be under the age of 65.
There are supplements available which help provide effective relief of symptoms of  benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), containing therapeutic doses of herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for this condition: saw palmetto, stinging nettle and willow herb.

Both saw palmetto and nettle have been shown in clinical studies to reduce symptoms such as urinary frequency, nocturia, hesitancy, dribbling, and incomplete emptying, whilst significantly increasing urinary flow rate; while willow herb has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory effects that could explain its traditionally observed effects in the management of BPH.

HERBS THAT MAY ASSIST
Serenoa repens (saw palmetto) fruit
Urtica dioica (nettle) root/rhizome
Epilobium parviflorum (small-flowered willow) herb
